-8-6x²+9÷3-2          ---Divide 9 by 3, this is the next thing to do in our order of operations

-8-6x²+3-2           ---Add/subtract the numbers not containing x  

-6x² - 7

I suppose your right rosala, "mrs." would inply that they are married.

But, "Miss" would imply that they are not married.

I believe the correct thing to say would have been mr./ms. anonymous, because ms. means that they could be married or not married. :)
