This forum is becoming a bit too much like face book. Chris and I really do not mind you chatting and having clean fun together on the forum. An anon posted recently that it was really nice that they could chat and share ideas with others and still be anonymous. I understand this and I have no desire to stop it but I do want to limit it a little.
My policies are not clean cut yet. Every day there seems to be something new posted that I want to think about, but here are some of my thoughts.
1. Choose one or maybe 2 chat threads that are used on any one day. Do not keep making a new thread just to say hello etc.
Most of the threads must be related to mathematics otherwise questions get lost in a sea of social posts and I don't think any serious members would want that.
2. NO pics of a person asking if this person is pretty. Other users do not know who these pics are of and they could be disguised bullying.
3. This is not a forum for religious or political posts. It is an international forum. People have many different beliefs and veiws. Always try to be thoughtful and tolerant of what other people believe. The easiest way to not offend people is to stay away from contentious issues.
4. Always be wary. People can claim to be anyone on the internet and they can keep up the deception for a long time. Do not give away personal information like your full name, your phone number or address or your school.

Having said this I want you to know that I am very proud of the regular youth members that we have here. Collectively you are a very thoughtful and tolerant bunch of young people. :)

+2972 also Melody, I highly suggest that we get rid of the fact to add Anonymous users to the website. They've been taking the Anonymous name to their advantage and they've been wrecking the forums with inappropriate content, but the worst part is they're anonymous. This means that they can easily get away with it. I believe that there should be a feature to where in order to like or comment or even to post you must register for a account. This way there would be no anonymous users, we know everyone's activity, and we can, for once, save the forums...

#1 it may be difficult for me to keep track of the number of chatrooms, but just be aware melody that they may get lost at sea throughout the day. #1 is really difficult to manage.
I completely agree with #2. im getting tired of people asking me: is this girl pretty?, especially when people like JackForst do it
#3 I do understand that everyone has their own beliefs and i respect their beliefs, even if i dont agree
#4: I knew that rule ever since i played clash of clans and pixel gun 3d! sometimes untrusted people claim themselves as a 10 year old girl but turn out to be a 30 year old dude with a beer bottle in his hand.
i can follow all these rules, but just to let you know, it would be difficult to manage #1

I agree with TitaniumRome, there are more negatives to allowing people to post anonymously then there are positives. For some people the positives are great but unfortunately other people take advantage and do their best to spoil the forum for others.
However, the owner of this site insists that people be able to post anonymously. I do not understand his logic nor do I need to. This is his forum, we are lucky and grateful that he has provided it for us, and we must use it, and make the best of it, as it is :)

People also take advantages of this, and like you said some bullying happens.

i jut read this post of ties excluding the comments! I haven't been getting any time now a days! Becoz I'm trying to develop a reading habit and not just stick to the internet be coz my last trip showed how close I was to the Internet!
Currently in in reading a very very very fat book that's the book thief! It's the best I've read till now! I'm at is end and I just have to keep it away from me coz when I see it I go onto ready and can't prepare for the tests so yeah it's awesome! I can say the book is way better than the movie awe the writer gives you such a 3d feel ! I almost wanted to cry and laugh out loud!
+11912 Not all books are bad! I highly recommend this book! If you read it , you'll just want to finish it in one day not minding its thickness ! The story is so much based on reality! I just love it!

+11912 My warning; don't creep out by the thickness in the beginning it will be confusing and boring and in a rhyming form but later it will be the best book ever! And i just want to give a big hug to its writer! God knows where he's now!

I've read The book theif, but partially it was around two years ago I was 9. I hardly understood it but know that you've reminded me it's an amazing book (from what I've read). I will read it after the Dead.
I'm the exact reader it's been like a year since I've really gotten into books because of my brothers lecture. I think it's a near tie between the Harry potter series and I am number four.
But I slightly like Harry potter more.

+11912 You know MG .......I haven't read fault in our stars! I've bought it! Brand new it's kept in my shelf hidden! I bought it with my pocket money! I'm a big saver so I had to get guts to buy it! I've heard people praise so I thought to read the famous thing! The cover, my brother saw it, he said he'll tell my dad and he did but I somehow did not how my dad the cover or else he'd have killed me! I'll make a blank cover for the book for I can read it in the summer holidays! I know the book will be good!
