Okay so I don't get it how 1/27 times 9 to the power of 24 equals 27 to the power of 15 :(

1/27 * 9^24 = 27^15

If we write each of these as a power of 3, we can show that the left side equals the right side.

Left side:

1 / 27  =  1 / 3^3  =  3^-3

9^24  =  (3²)^24  =  3^48                   (When you have an exponent to an exponent, multiply the exponents.)

(3^-3) x (3^48)  =  3^45                     (When you multiply numbers with the same base, add the exponents.)

Right side:

27^15  =  (3^3)^15  =  3^45
