7x/8-1=4-15x/16

We simplify the equation to the form, which is simple to understand

7x/8-1=4-15x/16

Simplifying:

+ 0.875x-1=4-15x/16

Simplifying:

+ 0.875x-1=4-0.9375x

We move all terms containing x to the left and all other terms to the right

. + 0.875x + 0.9375x=+4+1

We simplify left and right side of the equation.

+1.8125x=+5

We divide both sides of the equation by 1.8125 to get x.

x=2.75862068966
