how do you activate tan fraction to degrees, ie to -1

I think you might be talking about finding some angle, given a ratio.....use the tangent inverse for this.......hit the "2nd" button on the calculator, and then "atan" and key in your value.......then hit enter or the "=" key

Can you explain a little better.  I don't understand.
