how do you get the cos sin tan with -1 on top

First:  hit the (2nd) button and then hit the trig function that you want.

When you hit the (2nd) button, (sin) becomes (asin), (cos) becomes (acos), and (tan) becomes (atan).

"asin" means "arc sin" which is the same as sin^-1; etc.
