How do you inverse ((-3x+4)/(x-1))?

Set the expression to y:  y  =  (-3x + 4) / (x - 1)

There are two steps:

Step #1:  interchange the x and y terms   --->   x  =  (-3y + 4) / (y -1)

Step #2:  solve for y:     x(y - 1)  =  -3y + 4

                                    xy - x    =  -3y + 4

                                    xy + 3y  =  x + 4
