How do you solve the area of a kite?

you would need to have the lengths of it first. for a kite shaped like a diamond the formula would be a good idea to follow this link:http:   www.wikihow.com/Calculate-the-Area-of-a-Rhombus

A kite is a rhombus, so the formula is base times height. I could probably help more if you gave me exact measurements.

Mathematician, a kite is NOT a rhombus!

 

However, you can find their areas the same way

A=half the product of the diagonals.
