how to solve this quadratic equation in standard form 3x-2x^2=7?

Rewrite it as :

 

2x2 - 3x + 7 = 0  (by adding 2x2 - 3x to both sides)

 

Now you can use the solution to the general quadratic equation: ax2 + bx + c = 0 

 

x = (-b +/- sqrt(b2 - 4ac))/(2a)

 

Here:  a = 2,  b = -3,  c = 7
