I am learning about polonomials and it has a 8h times 3 in it how would I solve it btw the whole equation is (8h-1)(2h-3)

As it stands you don't have an equation because you haven't set it equal to anything!  However, if we assume you want to set it equal to zero, then you have:

(8h - 1)(2h - 3) = 0

 

For this to be true you must have either 8h - 1 = 0. so 8h = 1 so h = 1/8

or 2h - 3 = 0, so 2h = 3, so h = 3/2

.

If you just wanted to expand the bracketed terms then

(8h - 1)(2h - 3) → 8h*2h - 8h*3 - 1*2h +3 → 16h2 - 26h + 3
