i think we'll do it like this!

250/56 * 100

= 22.4%

so thats it...i think!

Hang on Rosala, I don't think that works.

Hi Rosala, the question is ambiguous BUT

$${\frac{{\mathtt{250}}}{{\mathtt{56}}}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{\mathtt{100}} = {\frac{{\mathtt{3\,125}}}{{\mathtt{7}}}} = {\mathtt{446.428\: \!571\: \!428\: \!571\: \!428\: \!6}}$$

Your answer belongs to a different interpretation

$${\frac{{\mathtt{56}}}{{\mathtt{250}}}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{\mathtt{100}} = {\frac{{\mathtt{112}}}{{\mathtt{5}}}} = {\mathtt{22.4}}$$
