How do you calculate a piece of wood's denisty if it measures 3 by 6 by 4 and the mass is 80?

Density is mass/volume, so calculate the volume:  vol = 3*6*4  (you haven't provided the units!) and mass = 80 (again you haven't provided the units) so density = 80/(3*6*4) = 1.111... mass units per cubic length units.
