if a skyscraper is shaped like a rectangular prism and the outside is made out of glass and the base of the building is 58m by 75m the height of the skyscraper is 223m what is the area of glass needed to cover the building
you need to think of it as 4 seprate (presuming the roof isnt glass) rectangles so you have two rectangles which are 58m*223m and another two which are 75m*223. then you just need to add the area of all four of the rectangles.
