Which is it?

 

The graph is shifted left 7 units?

 

The graph is shifted right 7 units?

 

The graph is shifted up 7 units?

 

The graph is shifted down 7 units?

 

The graph is just shaken, not shifted, 7 times.

Since the x-term is changed, the graph will be moved horizontally.

Whatever the x-value is in the first equation, the corresponding location for the second equation will need an x-value that is 7 larger.  So it will be shifted 7 units to the right.

If x is replaced by x - 7, the graph will be shifted 7 units to the right.

If x is replaced by x + 7, the graph will be shifted 7 units to the left.

(The "007" reference should get extra credit!)
