To get to 0 will take 11 terms; the 11^th term is 0²⁰.

Pattern for 100, 99, 96, ...  Pattern could be: decrease by 2 more than the previous decrease ...

--->   100, 99, 96, 91, 84, ...  Find the 11^th term ...

Or, did you mean the pattern 100 98, 96, ... ?
