\(x=log(0.001)\)
\({10}^{x}=0.001\)
\(x=-3\)
Replace \(x\) with \(-3\) and solve to see if the answer is correct:
\({10}^{-3}=0.001\)
\(\frac{1}{{10}^{3}}=0.001\)
\(\frac{1}{{1000}}=0.001\)
\(0.001=0.001\)
