i dont know why but that is what the calculator said so dont blame me if im wrong

$log(0.001)=x$

$x=log(0.001)$

${10}^{x}=0.001$

$x=-3$

Replace $x$ with $-3$ and solve to see if the answer is correct:

${10}^{-3}=0.001$

$\frac{1}{{10}^{3}}=0.001$

$\frac{1}{{1000}}=0.001$

$0.001=0.001$
