The slope of a line is -2 and its x-intercept is (5,0). What is the y-intercept point of the line? Express your answer as an ordered pair.

 

Point slope form of the line would be

(y-0) = -2 (x-5)   

re-arranged into y = mx+b form      m = slope   b = y axis intercept   

y = -2x+10
