how do you convert exponents to radicals and vice-versa

an/m   =    m√ (an)

 

Example     ...     34/3  =   3√(34)

 

 

Given a radical.......just reverse the process

 

Example     5√ (67)   =    67/5

 

Remember that the exponent inside the radical is the numerator in the exponential form and the index on the outside is the denominator
