If you have a bunch of 3 cent stamps and 5 cent stamps, it's impossible to make exactly 7 cents (you may want to verify that this is true). What is the largest amount of postage that you cannot make if you have 8 cent and 5 cent stamps? Is there a way to figure this out without just making a big list?
