How do you find the area of a circle if you know that the diameter is 16cm???
Area = (pi/4)*diameter^2
to find area= diamerter/2=radius
16/2=8
now area
8 squared*pi=
so 8*8=64
then 64*pi 201.06192983
round to whole no.=201
so, what you do is you have to find the radius. so you take 16 and divide it by 2. then, you square that answer. lastly, you times that answer by pi (usally 3.14, but sometimes more. then it is an infanite number.)
