Hi answering guest.  You have 8 numbers in your answer and there are only 7 digits. But you are certainly on the right track.

 

The first can be 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 or 8   That is 8 posibilities.

Then next 5 can be ans digit so that is 10 possibilities each.

Thge last one can only be 2 or 3.    That is 2 possibilities.

 

so the answer is

8*10*10*10*10*10*2 = 1 600 000
