y  =  -x2 + 36

To find the x-intercept, replace y with 0 and solve:  0  =  -x2 + 36     --->     x2  =  36     --->     x = -6, x = 6

So the x-intercepts occur at (-6,0) and (6,0).

To find the y-intercept, replace x with 0 and solve:  y  =  -02 + 36     --->     y  =  36

So the y-intercet occurs at (0, 36).
