3/(x-4)=-1/(x+3) solve for x
3/(x-4)=-1/(x+3) cross-multiply
3(x + 3) = -1 ( x - 4) simplify
3x + 9 = -x + 4 add x to both sides, subtract 9 from both sides
4x = -5 divide both sides by 4
x = -5/4
