Barley found the perimeter of the following square. She said the perimeter was 8x+40. Find the length of one side of the square.
The answer to my last problem was 4(2+40)
Psquare = 4S where S is the side length......so
8x + 40 = 4S divide through by 4
2x + 10 = S
