How do I rewrite the function y=(6x-2)/(2x+2) in graphing form???

what is this function's parent function??

How do I find domain and range and end behavior of the function as |x| increases without bound??

please help!!!!

 y=(6x-2)/(2x+2)   we can simplify this to:

y = [2 (3x - 1) ]  / [ 2 ( x + 1]   =   [3x - 1 ] / [ x + 1 ]

The graph will have a vertical asymptote at x = -1

And.....it will have horizontal asymptote at y = 3

The domain  is  all  x  except  -1

The range is all y except  3

As x increases without bound to the right and left, the function approaches  y = 3

Here's the graph :  https://www.desmos.com/calculator/kh5zyya04d

From the graph, I believe that the parent function  is    -1/x     [ I am not sure about this  !!!   ]
