All triangles have the same value, and all circles have the same value. What is the sum of two circles?

\begin{align*} \Delta + \bigcirc + \Delta + \bigcirc + \bigcirc + \Delta + \Delta&= 21\\ \bigcirc + \Delta+\bigcirc+\Delta+\bigcirc + \Delta + \bigcirc &= 16\\ \bigcirc + \bigcirc &= \ \, ? \end{align*}

Hello

So we will say that the triangle = x and the circle = y

We get the following equations

$$4x+3y=21,\:3x+4y=16$$

$$\mathrm{Substitute\:}x=\frac{21-3y}{4}$$

$$\begin{bmatrix}3\cdot \frac{21-3y}{4}+4y=16\end{bmatrix}$$

$$\begin{bmatrix}\frac{63+7y}{4}=16\end{bmatrix}$$

$$y=1/7$$

That's all we need to solve the rest!!!

$$y+y=?$$

$$1/7+1/7 = 2/7$$
