In a class of 7, there are 4 students who play soccer.

If the teacher chooses 3 students, what is the probability that none of the three of them play soccer?

Then 3 do not play soccer

The total number of possible groups of three that could be chosen is C(7,3) = 35

But only one of tese includes all three who do not play

So...the probability is     1 / 35
