I just want to see if anyone gets the "correct" answer. Prove that 2 + 2 = 4.

You are probably going to make fun of how terrible this is going to be but here it goes. Answer: If you express 2 on a number line and then move it over 2 spaces and then count from the origin you will count four.

Not a bad guess, but that's actually not right. How can you prove that the number line is correct? What if 2 didn't actually represent 2? It's kinda mind boggling ;) Believe it or not, the proof is... 2 + 2 = 4. It's the basis of most math, and it's one of those things that we accept as fact.
