When we use division do we subtract?
Well, I mean, I guess.. Because when you divide you get a smaller number.. But Please don't mix them up!!
Yes, division is just a glorified subtraction. It is a way to shorten subtraction. Example: 10/5=2. This means you subtract 5 from 10 twice:10 -5 =5 - 5=0. As you can see you subtracted 5 from 10 twice, or 2 times. That is what is meant by: 10/5=2.
