Is a sphere with radius 4cm bigger or a 5cm high cylinder with radius 3cm

Volume of the sphere  =

 

(4/3)* pi  *(4)^3 =  about 268.08 cm^3

 

Volume of the cylinder =

 

pi *  (3)^2  * (5)  = about 141.37 cm^3

 

The sphere has almost twice the volume of the cylinder
