I'm trying to determine the radius of a star to the sun. The equations given to me by my instructor is not working. what equation do I need to use? All I know of the star is that it has a temp of 27,000k and is 1/100 the luminosity of the sun.

Given equation is:

R / Rsun = (Tsun / T)^2 Squrt(L / Lsun)

R= Radius

T=Temp

L=luminocity

Rsun = 6.96x10^8m

Tsun = 5780k

Lsun = 3.83x10^26w

Use this formula to find the radius of the star:

L = (7.125 x 10^-7) R^2 T^4

(3.83x10^24)=(7.125 x 10-7) R^2. 27000^4

R=3.180383×10^6 Meters- Radius of the star.
