  Can someone explain to me how you solve them?

I know that the side a is " x radical 3 ", side b is " x " and side c is " 2x ". SO what am i supposed to do? Plug the number in?

For example I have this problem where a is labeled as " 10 " and you have to find what's c and a.

PLEASE HELP!It's homework for tomorrow and I'm so lost!!

Well, since side a=x√3 and a=10, you can create the equation: 10=x√3. Solving for x gives you x=10/√3. Since side b=x, and we have just solved for x, b must equal 10/√3.  To solve for c, we use the equation c=2x. Again, x=10/√3, so c=2*10/√3, which then simplifies to 20/√3.

Now, here's the final results:

a=10,

b=10/√3,

c=20/√3.

There we go! We just solved a 30-60-90 triangle problem!
