A sector has a perimeter of 14 cm.Find the angle bisected by sector & area of sector.

In that case the angle (theta, say) subtended at the centre of the circle is found from:  theta/360 = 14/(2*pi*r)  (with theta in degrees)

 

The sector area is then found from:    area/(pi*r^2) = theta/360  or  area/(pi*r^2) = 14/(2*pi*r)  or area = 7r

The question says nothung more.I wonder if the answer would have to be kept in r form with the radius as constant r.
