+5

Simplify the following:
-7/5+8/16+4/20

The gcd of 8 and 16 is 8, so 8/16 = (8×1)/(8×2) = 8/8×1/2 = 1/2:
-7/5+1/2+4/20

The gcd of 4 and 20 is 4, so 4/20 = (4×1)/(4×5) = 4/4×1/5 = 1/5:
-7/5+1/2+1/5

Put -7/5+1/2+1/5 over the common denominator 10. -7/5+1/2+1/5  =  (2 (-7))/10+5/10+2/10:
(2 (-7))/10+5/10+2/10

2 (-7)  =  -14:
-14/10+5/10+2/10

(-14)/10+5/10+2/10  =  (-14+5+2)/10:
(-14+5+2)/10

5+2 = 7:
7-14/10

7-14 = -7:
Answer: |   -7/10
