I'm going to guess you meant 1/2 (one half)

6= 1/2n + 5

1= 1/2n

2(1) = 2(1/2n)

2= 1n

n=2

5n+34 = -2 (1-7n)

5n+34= -2+14n

34=-2+19n

32=19n

n=1.6842

if you meant 1/7

5n+34 = -2 (1/7n)

5n+34= -2/7

5n=33.7143

n=6.7428571

please do your work, or you will fail the quiz/test bc you dont know how to do it.
