the measure of an angle is 25" more than the measures of its supplement. find the measures of both angles

Let x be the angle in degrees then:    x = 180-x + 25/3600  because an angle and its supplement sum to 180° and 25" = 25/3600 degrees

 

So:  2x =   90.0347°   or x = 90° 2' 5"
