Ah, never mind, I have to convert it in to a trinomial: 2(1 - sin2 x) + sin x - 1 and solve for the angle, which I know how to do. Thanks for helping! cool

Notice that this isn't an identity, Shades......

To be an identity, the curves would have to lie on top of each other....they are clearly separate

 

Maybe you copied it incorrectly???
