Rounding to the nearest hundredths is very easy. I'll take you through it.
Before we do this question though, we need to know what a hundredth place and digit is.
I'd like to state that the previous answer is incorrect. The Hundredth place is the second digit after the decimal place.
For Example: 218,102,301.5223
The First number after the decimal place is the tenths place.
Now rounding, the rule is if the following number is 5 or higher we round to the next number.
The Hundredth number in this number is 93.866666
Now, what we do is look at the number after it 93.866666
Is that number 5 or higher? Yes.
So we round the Hundredths one up.
93.87
