what is a cotangent of 60 ???
Vishesh, Hayley and guests
I always start by drawing a equilateral triangle of side length 2, and splitting it down the middle, for these problems.
\(cot 60 = \frac{adj}{opp} = \frac{1}{\sqrt3}\)
cot60∘=cos60∘sin60∘ Cotangent is Cosine divided by Sine
=123√2 Cosine of 60 Degrees and Sine of 60 Degrees
=3√3
multiplying top and bottom by 2 square root 3.
Does that makes since? :)
Cotan(60)=1/ tan(60)
Cotan(60)=0.57735......etc.
Hayley: does that make SENSE?
Very much so. :)
Sorry about my spelling!
