what is negative 3 times 3

-3 x 3= -9

When you multiply a negative by a positive, just ignore the negative sign and do normal multiplication. After you get your answer, add a negative sign to it.

-3*3=-9

You know this becuase when you multiply a negitive by a positive the answer will always be negetive.
