Usin PEDMAS , you must do the MULTIPLICATION first ....then the SUBTRACTION

7 x 4 - 5 =

28 - 5=

23

For this problem we can use pemdas to solve but please note you have an indicaion of addition at the beginning I'm assuming you will be adding this on to something.

But any way using pemdas we can solve the following (It can also be said in an ancryom to help remeber Please excuse my dear anut sally)

It stands for the following operations as well

1.Exponets

2. Parenthasess

3. Mutiplication

4. Division

5.  Addition

6. Subtraction

So to satrt you off on the right foot here's what you do

Like EP said above you must do the multiplication first in pemdas

so this is how you would od it

7 x 4 - 5 = (We would first multiply 7 x 4 whic would give us 28)

28 - 5 ( now all we do is subtract 5 from 28 which is 23 SOOOOOOO)

(Whatever?) + 28 = Your answer.....
