What's -34+(-12)??

You can think of a negative number as a  cold number so here you are adding cold.    +-

If you add cold air then the room gets colder so  + - = -

-34+-12

=-34-12

It is already negative and it is going to get even more negative so Linarose is correct (almost)

= - (34+12)

= - 46

add the two together as in regular math. 32+12= 44. then put the neg. sign in front of answer : -44
