I still use pemdas, and I would like to know where distributive property belongs

I don't think there is any distributive property involved in PEMDAS.

 

Say, in this problem here;  4 x 8 (2+6)

Well, PEMDAS says you have to get the parenthesis taken care of first, even if you immediately think you have to distribute the 8 through the parenthesis. :)

DUH!!!  just realized in removing the parenthesis, you have to Do distributive property

PEMDAS more like DPEMDAS

Yes The distributive property is not a part of pemdas however I see it as you can apply it with pemdas and with the fact I'm assuming you already now what that property does I'll rest my case here : )
