why does sin-1(6/5) not exist

Sin and Sin-1 (the inverse) are set up as opposite/hypotenuse 

the way sin-1(6/5) is set up is saying that the opposite side is 6 and the hypotenuse is 5 

this is wrong because the hypotenuse is always the longest side in a right triangle
