I love these things. We know that y equals 2x-6, and x+y=180. We can subtract x from the second equation to put it in terms of y, giving us y=180-x. Since both equations equal to y, we can set them equal to each other, so we get 2x-6=180-x. If we get all the xs one side and the numbers on the other we get 3x=186. Divide by three and our final answer is x=62.laugh
