Let's use the Least Common Multiple to get both denominators equal.

6: 6,12,18,24,30

4: 4,8,12,16,20

They both have 12 in common

Both denominators should be 12

10/12 - 9/12 = 1/12

So the answer to 5/6 - 3/4 is 1/12
