A courier delivery service delivers packages which cost $1.70 per package to deliver. The fixed cost to run the delivery van is $15.00 per day. If the company charges $2.70 per package, how many packages must be delivered daily to break even? Your answer should be a number only.

Our profit per package delivered is \($2.70 - $1.70 = $1\). Since we need to make \($15\), we can do \(\frac{15}{1} = 15\). So we would need \(15\) packages to be delivered.
