that's amazing!!! When I was in elementary I didn't learn this. It was the basics of math. So kuddos!
CPhill? Melody? GET IN HERE!!!!! LOL
Hm....
I think it is 1/4 divided by 10 which is 0.025, which rounds to 0.03.
that isn't it either lol.
Yes elementary school.... Really!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, is it correct?
An elementary school kid?? No way.
Cal if you get an answer from somewhere else but really do not understand it properly.
Please just give the link and admit that you do not really understand.
It is great that you are researching things. I applaud you for that.
Is it (0.2)^12
it isn't 1.25^1/10 either.
Okay. Don't trust me 100%, though. I'm a really rushed, angry elementary school kid... LOL!
no worries lol, I have a few more attempts on the others before they are completely wrong.
you were close though. and I appreciate you taking the time to try and help me.
I'm confused too... I'm so sorry about my incorrect answers. I will look at them again right now!
the 2nd part is also incorrect. These questions are over constant percentage change, so they use formulas like a=1+r for growth and a=1-r for decay. Im stressing out badly because they are super confusing.
0.34?! What?!!!!
25% each decade which is 1/4
Is it (1.25)^1/10???
it was .34
Really? Sorry about that. I will try again.
2) There are 12 months in a year....
-5*12=-60.
It declines by 60% or 0.6 each year.
1) Since there are 12 months in a year...
-4/12 will be -1/3% or -0.33 decrease each month
That answer is incorrect, I tried that. =/
