Initially y dash = 50*sin 53.1 degrees x dash = 50*cos 53.1 degrees
y=0 x=0
ongoing
y"=-g (I'll use -10) x"=0 ignore wind resistance
y' = -10t + 50sin 53.1 x'= 50*cos53.1
y= -5t^2 +(50sin53.1)*t x= (50cos53.1) *t
When y = 25
just substitute into the appropriate equation and solve with a quadratic equation.
I got 7.31 sec and 0.68 secs but I might have made a mistake.
This is enough to get you started. hope it helps.

I am not going to do the whole question for you but i will try to explain.
If g(x)=3*t - 6
then g(2) would equal 3*2 - 6 = 0
g(-4) = 3*(-4) - 6 = -18
g(a) = 3*a - 6
Just replace the original thing in the bracket with the new thing in the bracket.

I'm sorry, I don't get what Scott is saying although it would be easier to follow if this site allowed maths type.
Any way the question can only be answered if the original log is base e. So I will assume that.
log e^x = xloge = x*1 = x
So log (base e) of e^(2x+2) = 2x+2
The problem becomes 2x+2 = 7 The answer is x = 2.5

This is a region, there are an infinite number of answers.
First graph 5x+7y=57 It will be a dashed line because the less than sign is used.
then test a point (0,0) would be good.
If it satisfies the equation you shade in that side of the line, if it doesn't you shade in the other side.
Hope this helps.

There is no solution to this equation.
You are asking when does 5x-55 = 5x+9
This will be true when -55=9, in other words it will never be true.

It would be -1 because this is the only possible value for x

This is a loaded question because my answer really depends on what you already understand.
I would start by thinking about y=cos(bx+c) because cos is the reciprocal of sec
Now this is obviously a cos graph and hopefully you know the basic shape.
The amplitude is 1 because there is an invisible one in front of cos
The period is 2*pi / b
The phase shift is c/b (left if positive, right if negative)
Once this is graphed you take the reciprocal of each y value to make the new 'reciprocated' graph.
usually try to do it from the limits eg as y approaches 0, its reciprocal will approach infinity and I work backward from there.
Once you have the reciprocated graph you just times all the new y values by a and then it is all done.
EXAMPLE
I have graphed y=1.5*(sec(2x+(pi/4)) to try and show you how it works. I will try to add the graph as an attachment.
Start by considering
y=cos(2x+(pi/4) a=1 (this is the new 'a' not the original one, b=2, c=pi/4 therefore
amplitude=1, wavelength=2*pi/2 = pi = 3.14159, phase shift = pi/4 / 2 = pi/8 This is positive so the graph moves left. (moves neg direction)
Once this is graphed the graph is reciprocated.
Now all the points are multiplied by 1.5 which was the original 'a'.
The graph is now finished.
To think about reciprocated graph try considering y=x which you know is a line and y=1/x which you should know is a hyperbola.
LET ME KNOW IF ANY OF THIS HELPS or if I can clarify anything. I have already fixed one small error there may be more, let me know if you think so.
To draw the graphs for you I used http://rechneronline.de/function-graphs/

This depends on whether it is simple interest or compound (reducing) interest.
A big loan over a long period of time would usually be reducing interest which is cheaper.
Either way, 2.5% per month is 30% per year so it is going to be a lot of money.
Simple interest works out at $3666.67 per month
Reducable interest works out at $3035.64 per month.
If you want me to double check my answers or explain how I got them just ask me.

Do you mean 10 to the power of (72/7) times 3000
or
(10 to the power of 72) /7 times 3000
or
something else?

2.02 times 10 to the power of 24 (correct to 3 significant figures) this is a very big number ((2 to the power of 72) divided by 7) times by 3000

That would depend on how often the interest is added on. I know it is 14% per year but do you really mean 14/365% per day or 14/12% per month or do you have to wait for a whole year to get the first lot of interest. It makes a difference.

Do you mean 3 to the power of 5?
It might be the symbol x with a little y above, or it might be an upside down v depending on your calculator.

log (e^(2x+2))=7
Using one of the rules of logs - x^(logx(y))= y
You can rewrite the log as - e^(log e^(2x+2)) = e^7 -- to isolate whats in the bracket (2x+2)
You'll now be left with - 2x+2=e^7
Solving for X 2x=e^7-2
x=(e^7-2)/2
Because e is an actual number you can work it out to be 547.32

gonna start with the second equation first so y = (5-10x)/15
subbing that into the first equation 15x - (4/3)(5-10x)=-7
15x - 20/3 + (40/3)x = -7 making 15x into 45/3 x and -7 into -21/3 then adding them together
(85/3)x = 1/3 multiply everything by 3
85x = 1 so x = 1/85 and plug that into either equation to solve for y
15(1/85)-20y = -7 made 15/85 into 3/17
20y = -7 - 3/17 multiplying by 17 to the whole problem
340y = -119-3
340y = -122
y = -61/170

assuming that both legs are equal then the 44.5 length hypotenus squared would give you 1980.25
if they are in fact the same length then dividing that number by 2 will give you the square of each leg so 1980.25/2 = 990.125
and taking the square root of that will give you 31.466 for the length of each leg assuming they are both the same length or each of the other 2 angles are 45 degrees
