if you mean f(x) = (x - 3) if x = 2, then you just plug in 2 for x

f(2) = (2-3)

f(2) = -1

an expression does not have an = sign. and equation does. for an expression, you just have to simplify it until you cant anymore

The difference between an expression and an equation is that an expression doesn't have an equal sign, and an equation does.

(That is the basics)

37 x 24 = 888

74 x 12 = 888

111 x 8 = 888

148 x 6 = 888

222 x 4 = 888

296 x 3 = 888

444 x 2 = 888

888 x 1 = 888

In order to enter sec^-1, you can put 1 over sec in the calcultor or 1/sec

If this doesn't help you, please clarify your question.
